Abstract
This book presented a review of the main works focusing on computational complexity of HEVC encoders and a number of contributions with novel solutions for reducing, scaling and controlling the computational complexity. The research also included extensive simulations and experiments focused on the study and critical analysis of computational complexity for HEVC. In this chapter, the book is concluded with a summary of the main achievements, as well as some directions for future research.
